About Our Foundation
Bridge Educational Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that provides scholarship opportunities to Pennsylvania's low-income families. Bridge is one of the largest and most innovative scholarship organizations of its kind, raising more than $64 million to provide educational opportunities for more than 45,000 low-income families statewide.
We work hard to make sure Pennsylvania children get the best education possible. With support from our donors and interested local citizens, Bridge is boosting the educational achievement opportunities for children and families that would otherwise not be available to them. Bridge is a scholarship organization recognized as an approved not-for-profit organization, according to IRS Code 501(c)(3).

Please contact the private school where your child hopes to enroll — schools make scholarship requests to Bridge on behalf of their families.
Does the student have to be a resident of Pennsylvania?
Yes. Eligible students are school age residents of Pennsylvania and enrolled in a school located in the Commonwealth.
What are the income guidelines for EITC tuition assistance?
Annual household income of no more than $122,322, with an additional allowance of $21,531 for the student and each other dependent.
How much tuition assistance may a family receive?
A scholarship may not exceed the actual amount of tuition charged by the school in which the student is enrolled. The max scholarship award from Bridge is $8,500 per student per school year.
